3.4.5.1.1 Chip tip​

As described in the latest user manual provided by the manufacturer for the PY32F002B, the first byte of the option bytes has been redefined as a reserved field. In previous software versions, this byte was used to configure the protection options. Its value is now fixed at 0xAA by default and cannot be modified.

3.4.5.1.2 Set Protection For PY32F002B on PowerWriter​

The way to set protection for PY32F002B is by using the SDK. For details, please refer to the user manual below:

The settings in the PowerWriter software are as shown in the picture below. Click on the Write button at the top to write the option bytes into the chip.
