2.1 Wiring reference
2.1.1 Categorization
PWLINK2(Lite) Three wiring modes are provided, which are:
- SWIM :Suitable for programming STM8 series chips.
- SWD :ARM Cortex-M series MCU wiring.
- Serial port :Commonly used in serial port forwarding, can also be used for ISP wiring, some of the chips need to use the serial port to unlock when unlocking.
SWD For wiring and SWIM chip wiring refer to PWLINK2 Wiring reference。
Serial Wiring :VREF、GND、RX、TX。
tip
RX on the device side indicates the receiving end of the device, which needs to be connected to the transmitting end (TX) of the target chip, and TX indicates the transmitting end of the device, which needs to be connected to the receiving end (RX) of the target chip.
caution
Please use VREF for the power supply of the target chip. 5V power supply pin is commonly used to supply power to the target board system.
2.1.2 Target Chip Wiring
PowerWriter provides wiring references for mainstream chips, which can be viewed through the Tools menu after selecting the target chip, as shown below:
